ABOUT
Race Before Sunset is a Melodic Metalcore band formed in 2010 by a group of friends united by a passion for heavy music and intense live shows. With musical inspirations spanning August Burns Red, Misery Signals, Parkway Drive & etc, the band melds technical guitar work, thunderous rhythm sections, and dynamic vocals into an explosive sonic identity and has carved its name into Brunei’s metal underground scene.
After releasing the single Dwelling Nightmares (2014), the band took time navigating life changes while staying committed to writing and evolving their sound. Despite challenges, Race Before Sunset revitalized their activity with regional live shows across Brunei, Malaysia, and Indonesia, gaining a loyal fanbase.
New Single (Upcoming), expecting a new release soon (2026 upcoming single represents a new chapter - heavier, more refined, and emotionally potent - a testament to the band’s journey through adversity and passion for heavy music.
